My first commission: eight works on paper in muted pale green, mauve pink, off white and brownish blue, made for a friend’s newly decorated bedroom. A look at the process, and the remaining five paintings from the ‘Grace’ series.

My paintings 'Promise', 'Permission 4/1' and 'Permission 6/1' are on show at the Nottingham Society of Artists' Summer Exhibition until Sunday 23rd August. Free entry, do come along.

I had a stall at the South Kilburn Carnivale in London on a hot July day, with my small paintings on paper and my large canvas 'The Return of Heat'.
